Monday, April 4. Visit by the Ambassador of Switzerland. Mr. Manuel Sager and his wife, Christine Sager, will visit Helvetia. 2:00-4:00pm

Tuesday, April 12. Monthly meeting of the Helvetia Restoration and Development Organization. 6 p.m. at the Helvetia Public Library.

Wednesday, April 13. Pickens School Community Meeting. The Local School Improvement Council invites the public to discuss activities at Pickens School.

Saturday, April 16. Pickens Ramp Supper.  Ramps, ham, cornbread, beans, fried potatoes, applesauce, cole slaw, and dessert. 2:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. American Legion Hall. $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12. 304-924-5813.Sponsored by Pickens Post 122 American Legion.

Wednesday, April 27. Farm Women's Club Meeting. 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, April 30. Helvetia Ramp Supper. Enjoy ramps, ham, fried potatoes, soup beans, coleslaw, applesauce, and cornbread with desserts and beverages. 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. or when the food is gone. Adults: $14, children ages 4-12: $7, children under 4 eat for free. A square dance with music by the Helvetia Star Band follows at 9:00. Admission: $5.
