Monday, February 2. Farm Women's Club Meeting. At the home of Louise and Tracy Malcomb. 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday, February 10. Monthly meeting of the Helvetia Restoration and Development Organization. 6 p.m. at the Helvetia Public Library.

The First Saturday Dance for February has been moved to the second Saturday.

Saturday, February 14. Valentine's Day Square Dance. Adults $5. Age 12 and under, $1. 8:00 p.m. Star Band (Red) Hall.

Saturday, February 21. Fasnacht. You can download a poster from Fasnacht 2008 on that page.

  • 3 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Open mic, food, and drink at the Red Hall.After 8:30 p.m., the Red Hall will close except for those who are sleeping there. $5 each person for sleeping. Bring a sleeping bag. Refrigerator and stove are available for those bringing breakfast food.
  • 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Buffet - Greetings - Hutte Restaurant.
  • 8:30 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. Lampion (candlelight) parade - Star Band Hall to Community Hall.
  • 8:45 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Judging costumes - Prizes - Community Hall.
  • 9:00 p.m. - 12:00 p.m. Masked Ball - Community Hall.
  • 12:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m. Burning Old man Winter - outside Community Hall.
